FCT Minister Nyesom Wike says he could become a major target of opposition politicians if President Bola Tinubu loses the 2027 presidential election.
Wike specifically mentioned former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, saying their political differences with him could intensify if the opposition takes power.
The minister made the comments during a media interaction in Port Harcourt while defending his continued support for Tinubu despite remaining a member of the Peoples Democratic Party.
Wike has remained one of the most outspoken PDP figures backing Tinubu, while his relationship with Atiku and Obi has remained politically contentious.
