The House of Representatives committee investigating the controversial Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council says it found no evidence linking Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila to its establishment or operations.
The committee said its investigation uncovered 58 bank accounts associated with the organisation and examined an alleged N400 million transaction.
According to the panel, Gbajabiamila had instead alerted relevant security and investigative agencies after concerns were raised about the organisation.
The investigation is continuing, with attention now focused on how the purported agency entered government structures and financial processes.
