Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate, Neche, has voluntarily withdrawn from the reality television show.
Neche, who was the Head of House for the week, announced her decision to her fellow housemates shortly after Sunday’s live eviction show.
She gathered the contestants in the lounge and told them that she had decided to leave the competition. However, she did not explain why she chose to quit.
Her unexpected announcement left the other housemates emotional. She subsequently removed her microphone and name tag before heading to the diary room to finalise her exit.
Neche’s sudden departure has generated reactions among BBNaija fans, with some viewers suggesting that the development could be a prank or a surprise twist planned by the show’s organisers.
The 2026 edition of BBNaija, tagged “Show Ya Sef”, premiered on July 26 with 24 housemates competing for a ₦160 million grand prize.
Martins and Mercedes were the first contestants to leave the show after being evicted, while Kamsy became the third housemate to exit following Sunday’s eviction.
