The Defence Headquarters says Nigerian troops killed 324 terrorists and rescued 610 victims during security operations across the country in August.
The military says the operations targeted terrorist and criminal elements in different theatres of operation, while also disrupting their activities and recovering weapons.
According to the report, the rescued victims included persons abducted by criminal groups operating in areas affected by insecurity.
The military says operations will continue as security forces intensify efforts to degrade terrorist networks, protect communities and restore peace across the country.
